While running the art book project, I also need some rest. How do you normally rest? ))
Well, from environment concept art and illustration I normally take a break in character design. I don't do that a lot, but I still love it. So here's a little game I play with my art book setting. There're three races and thus three regions. Snowy and reclusive one, then some chaotic spiky place with heavy architecture, and finally some well organized and bright place with bismuth accents all over. And I've made three heavy-armor knight sketches of those, just by utilizing fragments of environment concepts with a basic silhouettes. The weapons of choice somehow resemble the main idea of the race - defensiveness, aggressiveness and preciseness.
In time I'm planning to finish the designs into something more readable, sure. 2b continued!
Hope you like them as much as I do. I might as well include them into the book while they're still so much environment-related)))
